Are you a tea drinker or a coffee drinker? I’ve always been more of a coffee drinker but I also enjoy a nice cuppa tea as well. I’ve actually been trying to drink less coffee and more tea lately. It’s a habit that I’m really liking so far.
I was talking with CeAnne over at St. Fiacre’s Farm about this and she so generously offered to send me a bag of their very own Mountain Hazel Not Coffee. I was super excited to give it a try. Can herbal tea really replace coffee? I was set to find out.
When the package of tea arrived in my mailbox, I was like a kid at Christmas. We were actually on our way to town when we checked the mail. I couldn’t wait until I got home to open it. I had to check it out immediately. Oh my, the smell of this tea blend is amazing.
It looked beautiful and smelled so good and now I had to wait until we went back home to try it. Sigh……. I lived through the wait, just in case you were worried about me.
Tea Instead of Coffee- Yay or Nay?
I finally got home and was able to steep a cup. I sweetened it a little and added half and half just like I would to coffee. I was not disappointed. The flavor was rich and full, very coffee like. You can taste each of the herbs and seasonings, they just blended together so nicely.
I knew that my sister in law would really enjoy it so I even took some to her house. She loved it! Tea is so wonderful to share with others. There’s not much better than sitting down for a visit with someone you love and having a hot cup of tea together. Something about it just warms the soul.
If you are an avid coffee drinker, you have got to try this. I was very pleasantly surprised at how coffee like this tea was. If you are looking to reduce or replace your coffee intake, this is your go to right here.
The wide range of flavors, uses, and health benefits of tea is intriguing to me. I’m excited to continue to broaden my palette. There are so many types to try out. St Fiacre’s Farm is definitely going to be my go to. They have the coolest monthly subscription for tea as well.
I love supporting family owned businesses that hand craft what they make using organic and natural ingredients. What they do resounds with me so much. I hope you will check out their shop and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.
I think I may become obsessed with drinking tea and trying as many different types as I can. It’s a good thing that it is something healthy to get addicted to. I look forward to learning about different varieties and what benefits they offer to me and my family.
Excuse me now, I must go and steep another cup.
